John Anderson is a licensed trade stock auditor based in the north east of England. He has been providing stocktaking services to clients in the licensed trade plus leisure and hospitality industries since 2005.
John has been involved in the licensed trade and leisure industry for over 30 years. Following a five year career in hotel management, working in Glasgow and Newcastle upon Tyne, John joined the late night leisure industry as a General Manager of nightclubs, discotheques, live entertainment bars and restaurants for the UK’s leading Plc operator of late night entertainment venues. During his 20 year employment he held Justice’s On Licenses and PEL licenses in ten locations throughout England and Wales.
Brands include Cinderellas Rockerfellas, Ritzy Nightclubs, Chicago Rock Café, Jumpin Jaks and The Jam House where John was achieving budgeted sales of £35-£55,000 per week. Weekly stock taking of liquor and food stocks was an essential tool to maintaining control of profitability.
John’s experience covers the whole range of business disciplines from finance, audit and control, personnel, heath and safety, food hygiene, employment law, noise at work, and dealing with local authorities on licensing, policing and social awareness issues.
